I just got done playing Doom 3 with all the light off and the sound cranked. This was really the first time I’ve gotten to play this game and really relish the experince. My God! I can honestly say that the game is a work of art. It will literally scare the shit out of you, and everytime it does, you go running back for more! One of the coolest things I’ve seen so far was walking up a pair of metal stairs, and haveing an Imp literally come from underneath the steps, bend them back, and then jump out and straight at me! God bless you John Carmack!!
Here is a screen shot I took of the game. This is actually pretty bright compared to most of the game. Keep in mind, most of this is being lit by my flashlight, and that’s how you go through the whole game.
