As I write this, we have 11 more days until out wedding. When we first started planning everything, people told us that the following yea is going to fly by, and that the last 2 weeks were going to be the worst of it all. Jess and I thought we were all powerful and wise like Oz and thought that if we got the bulk of everything done at least 6 months before the wedding date, everything would be fine. Well, we did get the bulk done, but here we are in the last 2 week crunch and let me tell you it’s kicking our ass. I now know that those people who have gone through this are very wise, and we’re a bunch of idiots.
I do remember telling you to elope or have it on an island.
i cant believe how fast the past year has flown by, too. don’t forget, i have a date with you and some vodka at the reception after all that grown-up stuff is done and we can be goofy. i best be investing in some platform shoes for that dance w/JP! btw..you bought hackett-shafer-wedding.com and theres STILL nothing up there! you could always make it into an online photo album of the wedding tho. ok man, i’ll see ya in 9 days!
