9 Days and Counting

We’re into the thick of it now. Tomorrow we have our final meeting with our banquet corrdinator at the Ramada. Jess talked to her today, and for the layout that we went with, there maybe some changes to the reception, such as the reveiving line and such. But, we still have time to work out all of those details.

Tomorrow at the meeting is also where we finally have to pay off the reception. I saw “pay off” tongue in cheak since all the money we are using has been borrowed.

About 80% of all I need to do for the wedding has been completed. That which still needs to get done will hopefully be completed in the next 8 days.

This will give you a clue how wrapped up in things we are — A new Sting CD came out on Tuesday and I never even knew about it. In fact, I still wouldn’t have if I hadn’t check my my email today and gotten a message from iTunes about it. At $11.99, it was a steal. So, I bought my first full albumn tonight via iTunes. I can now understand why people do this. For $11.99, I had a brand new albumn, 2 bonus tracks, commentary tracks, digital booklet, and a making of video in under 3 minutes. I went for a walk and listened to the whole albumn, and I have to say, I love it. “Songs From The Labrynth” (the new CD) perfectly fits where I am at right now in my life. It’s a collection of 16th century songs, something which I did not think I would like, but I really do.

We got our batteries for our camcorder this week as well. Best Buy wanted to sell us a 1 1/2 hour battery for $97.99, while I was able to get 3 2 hour batteries for $10.99 each online. Suck on that Best Buy!

I have 4 more days of work, and then I am off for 13 glorious days! I honestly don’t know how many more posts I will be able to fit in before the wedding, so I will most likely be doing most of my communication for the next 3 weeks via my moblog over at Flickr.

As for me, it’s time to get a few more things done. Later…
