I am off for the next 2 days. Why is this such a big deal? It’s a big deal because tonight at work I realized that I have only had 2 days off in the last 21 days. That’s 3 weeks with only 2 days off. Why you ask? Because I have been putting in some overtime each week at work because they have been asking me to come in on at least one of my days off. With Christmas coming, I would be foolish to pass up an opportunity for overtime. But to be honest, I can’t wait to just relax and actually see my family for the nest 2 days. I can’t wait to hang out and play with my son, and actually have a real honest to God dinner with them. Plus, I’ve been itching to start pulling out the Christmas decorations and out them up outside before it gets cold as hell outside.
Yes, I will actually be taking 2 whole days off from work. Granted, I will probably be going to my store at least once in the next 48 hours, but it will be as a customer.
