A New Look

I finally decided to change the layout of the site. The old theme was fine but not only did it remind me of the theme I used to have in March 2009, but viewing it on a mobile device sucked. Since most of us read on mobile devices today, it seemed prudent to change this.

I’ve been searching for the past few weeks for a new design. Not only do I really like this theme, but it has LOTS of built in customizations. Granted, I will be getting my hands dirty digging into the code a little but (what fun would it be if I didn’t?) but for now it simply is what it is.

Back in the day I used to work on a site’s layout for literally weeks making sure everything was EXACTLY how I wanted it before releasing it into the public. These days, I much more liberal. The way the site looks right now is about 80% of what I want it to be. The last 20% aren’t major things and can certainly wait a few days/weeks to make their presence know. In fact, I doubt you will notice any of them at all once they are implemented.

But for now, enjoy the first re-design of 2013!
