* WINDS… NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH.

* IMPACTS… HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT BECAUSE HEAVY SNOW IS A POSSIBILITY… BUT NOT A CERTAINTY. AT THIS TIME… THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 7 INCHES OR MORE. TRAVEL CONDITIONS COULD BECOME HAZARDOUS… SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TRAVEL IN THE WATCH AREA.

I’ve seen the over all forecast and it is without a shadow of a doubt that the New England area is going to be hit the worst. They are calling for 12+ inches of snow with some areas getting up to 24 inches of snow.

Now, what about our 5-8 inches of snow? The Official Twev1701 Weather Forecast is calling for 2-3 inches, followed by rain. We’re on the trailing end of the storm and there is warmer weather predicted to follow the tail end of the storm; this is why I am giving a maximum snow total of only 3 inches. Frankly, I will be surprised if we even reach that 3 inch mark. Will I be wrong? Like any other forecast, is’s 50/50 odds, but I’m going to stick with my 2-3 inch forecast.

As you were.
