It’s a beautiful day outside with temperatures in the lower 80°s. I’m writing this right now sitting on the porch with my iPad. When I think about what I moved into this house with, it amazes me how far we have come in 14 years.
I moved into this house with an IBM Aptiva running Windows 95, sporting a fast 233mHz Intel Pentium II processor, and 500mb of RAM. My internet was delivered courtesy of MSN and screamed at 56kbps over my phone line.
Right now I’m on a device that literally came right out of Star Trek The Next Generation, and surfing on a 15mbps cable modem served to me wirelessly. If you told me back then that I would be doing this I would have called you mad. But here we are, living in the future.
I can only imagine what I’ll be blogging on 14 years from now.
