Tonight while I was filling up Jess’s car with gas I took a picture of the price at the pump since the price of gas has been dropping dramatically in the past few weeks. Here is the picture I took.
Taking this picture reminded me of when I used to take a picture of the pump price when I used to fill up my tank to go see Jess while she was at Kutztown. I then would upload them to my moblog. That brought me around to something I have been saying for years — I miss TextAmerica.
Even though I have been uploading my pictures exclusively to flickr for the better part of 10 years, I still miss the simplicity of TextAmerica. I am still in search of a site and service that can offer me the same ease and layout as that site used to. It’s really a shame that nothing has come close since it shut down back in 2007, although I stopped using the service in 2006 when they got rid of all the free accounts. Don’t get me wrong, I love flickr, but I just like the layout that TextAmerica had better.
