So we ended up getting about 5 inches or so of very wet and heavy snow. As a nice surprise, Jessi from next door came over and cleared our driveway with her snowblower. Apparently she likes to use the machine and wanted to have some more fun with it. That’s why she’s an awesome neighbor!
So after the snow stopped the temperatures started to tank. When I came home in the late afternoon after running some errands, I decided to clean off my car and shovel the end of the driveway. Much to my surprise, the entire driveway was frozen. Ugh. I shoveled what I could and then headed inside for some warmth and dinner. It got so cold and the wind chill was so low that every school had a 2hr delay this morning, including Hazleton Area. How cold was it? Here’s a sample of the weather after I got done feeding Adelaide her morning bottle.
