34 months. This is how long I have been using this current theme on my site. This my friends is a record for this site.
Every few months I get bored of the site’s layout and look for something new. Why haven’t I done the same in almost 3 years? I’m not quite sure to be honest. Part of it is that I really like this layout. It’s clean, and everything seems to fit nicely together. Another reason is that I don’t have nearly enough time to get onto the computer like I used to. This is the first time I have been able to spend more than 15 minutes on the computer in weeks. Hell, there are days that go by that I never even touch the thing!
So am I keeping this layout because I truly like it or because right now it’s just ‘working’. Complacency over creativity? I’m not sure. Maybe I should look into a change for the site. But then again, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Decisions, decisions, decisions…
