Cold! Cold! Cold!

Right now the northern part of the country is being draped in a Polar Vortex. What the hell is that? This is a huge rush of arctic air — like literally from the north pole — that’s getting pushed on top of us. What does that mean? That means some of the coldest temperatures this part of the country has ever seen. So how are we making out? Well, tomorrow will be the kid’s 3rd day off from school due to the cold and snow. And right now compared to the rest of the country, it’s pretty balmy out — it’s only -4º with a -18º windchill.

We’re supposed to see wind chills get down to around -35º tonight. Yeah, just a wee bit nippy.
