Halloween

Like everything else in the nation right now, our Trick or Treater base was not what it was last year. In fact, we saw a 50% reduction in kids coming to the house this year.

We had 1 kid show up at 5:45pm.

Thank God for Kyla, Gavin, Jason and Janeen taking some of the candy with them, but we’re still eft with a good 1/2 bowl full of candy. The only thing I can think of is that given the current appearance of our house — scaffolding all around, tarps all of the place, piles of old shingles, shit literally flying off the house — maybe they were scared off a bit. Can’t blame them actually.

This is going to be a short post since I have to write up 2 estimates for i/o Computers before work, put away some laundry, and maybe watch an episode of Lost during lunch. Either way, I’m out here. Later…
