When I woke up this morning the sun was shining bright and the day looked beautiful. The rain had stopped from the night before and the wind was whisping lightly through the trees. It was so nice in fact, that I sat on my porch steps and read for a little while on my phone as the dogs played in the yard. Granted, when the sun went in it was a little chilly since the temperatures were only in the uppers 40s, but it was nice considering the cold weather that has plagued us all spring long. Once the wind really started to pick up I decided to head inside. That was about 20 minutes ago.
Now the wind is blowing at about 20-25 mph and the rain is pouring down, going sideways most of the time. The sky is black and it looks like dusk outside.
What a difference 20 minutes can make.
