So we went out yesterday to pick up a few things and while out, I picked up 2 bundles of firewood. It was supposed to be in the low 40°s last night and I thought a fire would be ideal.
When I got home and opened up the bundles I found that the wood was slightly damp. I found the driest pieces that I could and placed them I into the fire pit. It took quite a while to get them lit. On e they were lit and a nice fire started to brew it started to rain. And then rain heavier. And even heavier then that. In about 5 minutes the fire I had worked so hard to light had gone out.
All I wanted was a nice fire and apparently Mother Nature wanted me inside watching a movie instead. As a side note, we did end up watching ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’. It was a pretty good movie. It great, but pretty good.
